Is this the strongest we have in the Republican Party? Sadly, the answer is yes. Rand Paul is a "card-board" cutout! Who composes these speeches for him? I think they are by second year Creative Writing students from the Ivy Leagues who are wannbe writers and poets! Permit me to mention a few of his topics: Liberty for all; Prosperity for all; Limited Government for all; this is the same astute rhetoric that EVERY Republican uses to convince the "superficial" masses! (This garbage goes back to the Reagan years! Come on, give me something new!) Let us try something more effective, like these topics: What is he going to do to stop the millions of illegal aliens from entering our country? What is his plan to make ENGLISH the ONLY accepted language in our country? What is he going to do about prohibiting the building of mosque's in our country because of our Judeo-Christian roots? How is he going to promise the entire destruction of ISIS and Boko Harem(by the way, this title stands for Western Education is Forbidden!)? If our current President and Republican administration is so conscious of repressed refugees throughout the world, then why haven't they ordered the evacuation of Syrian Orthodox Christians who are being terrorized and killed by members of Isis as well as Jews or Yazidis who are also suffering at the hands of these lunatics as I compose this?  Don't flex muscle in front of me, use it!  Now, if Rand Paul had mentioned these critical issues in his speech and presented a plan of deployment,  I may reconsider my position on the Republican side of coin. As it stands, in the current form in which he has presented it, I don't see this man as a Safety Net for the survival of the Democratic process; he is not Brave nor Wise! As a long-past REPUBLICAN once opined: "The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the LOVE of soft-living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life."
